Looks like he isn't the first owner. I have the Code Card and Brown Master Key for my scooter. The price of a new spare Service Key was £45, when I last looked, but you don't need the Code Card to Program a Blank Key. You definitely need the Code Card, as this is required to tell the Key Cutter how a Replacement Service Key is cut. If you lose your only Service Key, then you will have to send your Immobiliser/ECU away to have 2 new Keys cut (Master & Service) - around £100, or £150 to Reprogram the Immobiliser at the same time. Look at A. J. Suttons site - www.vespaspares.co.uk/spares/news/programmingNewKeys.html. This has clear instructions on Programming a Blank Key - it states that you must Program ALL Service Keys, not just the new one. I have phoned Piaggio, at their UK Head Office, and they have been very helpful and knowledgeable. They may not be able to tell you the Code Card No. at present, because you are not the owner, but may be able to tell you after you have bought the scooter. I wish you the best of luck with this - hope it all goes well.
